Customer needed grab bars and an accessible handheld. Has good pressure and magnet is strong, attaches itself and optional mount was perfect for this application 👌🏼

Housing and spray heads are all chrome plastic. The hose is a flexible metal covered tube. Easy to install. With the included rubber washers I did not have need for Teflon tape. All the options can be a little overwhelming. I pretty much use the handheld on standard rain and switch over to the side nozzles for some muscle relax time. Your water pressure will likely make a difference if you are planning on using both at the same time. Magnet for the handheld is excellent. Get it close and it pops right on. On the handheld I would liked to have had a button to stop the flow. The main toggle is side nozzles, both, or handheld only (turns pretty easy). The handheld just has the range of nozzle lever that has like 8 settings with off being to the far left for when you are trying to soap up. Then you have to travel back through the settings to get to the rinse. When its easy to let the head hang than adjust that's where it can be a bit annoying. Still matches the description, when in easy, decent price point, and lots of options for anyone that likes to play with their spray settings.

I've heard complaints from my family for a while about our hard and heavily chlorinated water. When I saw this product, I thought I'd try it. When it arrived, it seemed simple and well-built. Before I mounted it, I read the instructions and familiarized myself with removing the filter. While doing so, I was impressed by this device's solid feel and positive controls. Then I installed it. Although the instructions say no tools are needed, like all plumbing jobs, this proved not to be the case. I removed the old shower connection and wand holder and then replaced them with this filtered housing. I hand-tightened it, just like the instructions stated. Of course, it leaked. This was not the unit's fault. It was the fault of my old plumbing. I applied white tape to the threads on the shower pipe and tried again. While I fixed the leak on the wand connection, the shower pipe still leaked a little. I could have stopped there, because such a leak is harmless as it only drips into the shower during operation. However, I hate leaks. Using extreme caution, I tightened the housing onto the shower pipe with a wrench. I only recommend this to experienced DIY types or plumbers because it is VERY easy to break fixtures when you do this. However, I stopped the leak, and all was well. The unit was correctly installed, and I allowed a few days of use before I reviewed this device. Well, my family reports improved shampooing and skin feel, so this filter must be considered a win. Recommend! A nice device.

Great Shower head setup. Good pressure from the main head, & the detachable head. Several good options for stream types on both heads, & the 2 jet spray levels make the detachable head perfect for cleaning up the shower. Very easy install. Would highly recommend.

It works, and somehow the finish is okay. Due to the mold, some of the threads on one side are almost flat, giving a path for water to come out. The other size, the female connector, is oversized and has too long of threads. Normally, people would have a pipe, and it wouldn’t be a problem. But in my case, I have a valve to control the pressure and save some water, and that oversized end will hit that and won’t thread all the way down, so it will leak. I will either remove the valve or add a second rubber seal inside to check if that helps. Besides that, it works, and I like that you can bypass the filter whenever you want. Hopefully, in a couple of months, they still exist, and I can get a replacement filter.

If you have ever read my reviews, then you know I will and have scrutinized and put products to my tests, but I usually do my reviews a couple weeks into my purchase unless it’s a common item. First off, when I picked up the box at my front door, I swear it was not what I expected as it had some serious weight to it. It comes brown boxed with a very nice printed on label, with an attention grabbing slogan inside the lid. Let’s just say when they built this product, they meant business. Each piece is contained inside of a drawstring lined bag. The main shower head is solid metal, with micro silicon rubber jets. It’s got such a reflective property to it your could use it as a mirror, the selector knob acts as if it’s got a bearing with a positive click selection for both the wand and shower head or individually. The logo is laser etched into the selector valve as well. The wand is something I would carry with me if I wanted to protect myself against shower predators! It’s solid with a standard pressure, a high pressure, and a mist type of selection for water. I opted for the 108” wand hose as an extra part as well. Added some teflon tape to the wall pipe and tightened it down, don’t over tighten, it’s not needed. Just hand tighten the set screws, don’t over tighten them. Add the shower head first, then the supply line to the tap and then connect the supply line to the wand, hand tighten that part as well. There are dual seals for the wand one inside the connector and one on the wand. The hose is very flexible and covered in a metal housing. After it’s all installed, run it for about 2 minutes to clear out the lines, yes you will see some discolored water, but you will also see this when you change out fridge water filters and purge the lines. I had to take a shower just to try it out and I was quite surprised at the pressure. I have been shopping at the big box stores to actually see what was the best. ALL of them were plastic or had plastic parts. This one is all metal and based on my experience of having an all metal one many years back, this will be a top winner. Hammerhead thought this out and delivered an outstanding product. I was skeptical at first, but I watched the reviews increase and for a majority they all agreed that this is a well made product. We all know that the water the comes into our home, does eventually cause sediment build up and it make the water pressure drop, and damages the shower heads from clogging. Since this is metal, and parts can be replaced I see it working well into the future. My last shower head only lasted about 2 years. So let’s see what this one will do. You do get extra washer seals, rubber jets, teflon tape, an Allan key, and warranty cards. I installed mine after I brought it in the house. I have been comparing many of them including the big names over priced companies which still make them plastic. I will post an update to see how well it’s holding up. But for now, I will support their company. No, I didn’t get this as a promo, or ask to write about my experience. But I support great products and my reviews are up front and honest. Thanks hammerhead!!!!

I really like the double heads for more body coverage. I also liked the removable shower head to get where the bigger one can’t go (if you know what I mean). I feel so refreshed when I’m finished because of the massaging position in both shower heads. It has 8 different showers settings. I don’t want to get out the shower as a matter of fact my skin feels so soft. I’m about to take a shower now. Assembly was easy, also no tools needed. Great value for the money, looks great, water flow is on point even with both heads going. Pressure goes down if both are on but other than that I like it

This is a great shower head at a solid value. I love all of the different spray functions it offers, even the mist one. I can imagine using the mist (which comes out cool even if the water is set to warm) in the summer when I just want to cool off a bit. The rest of the sprays feel very “spa-like” to me. Although the unit is made of plastic, it has a solid quality feeling. And because it is large, I can’t imagine that something this big could even be made in metal without being exceedingly heavy (especially considering the filter unit). The filter is a really nice option for people with longer hair and in areas where a filter really makes a difference. All in all I’m very happy. It is a definitely upgrade from my old shower head.

Easy install and good quality filter. I haven’t noticed much of a difference in terms of water quality but my hair does feel less brittle. I moved from the city to the suburbs and the water is much harder here. My skin feels better but not sure if that is due to a new moisturizing body wash. This is easy to turn on and off as well. It did not affect water pressure which was one of my concerns. With all these water filters the main issue is replacing the cartridge. It looks easy on paper but I wonder if there will always be availability.

The AquaCare 10 mode handheld shower head with replaceable filter built right into the handle. The installation was quite easy and can be completed without the use of tools. There are 3 main parts to this product. The shower head mount which tightens on to the existing shower arm, which comes out of the wall. You need to wrap some Teflon tape around the threads and then screw the Shower, head mount clockwise until it is tight and properly oriented. The next thing you need to do is place on the black washers into one end of The hose onto the thread outlet on the shower head mount again tightening it and tight. The final step is to place the remaining black washer into the other end of the flexible hose and attach the shower head and tighten snuggly. That’s it! You should run water through the shower head before first use. Both to check for any leaks that may need tightening and to run water through the filter to remove any loose residue that may be present. Of the 10 settings that are included 2 of them are the spray patterns controlled by the blue buttons on the back of the shower head and spray streams of water out of the end of the shower head and are handy for cleaning and rinsing down tub and tile. These are very powerful jets of water, which are very useful for cleaning, but not really so much for showering. Then there is one other setting that is included and that is to temporarily shut the water off at the shower head, to save water while soaping up or shampooing. So, if you ask me there are 7 shower patterns, plus 2 jet sprays for cleaning and a temporary water shutoff. But even still, they are 7 great shower patterns! I’m not certain how much the water felt different coming out of this filtered shower head, but I am certain it was different and felt softer. The pressure and flow of the water felt as strong as, or stronger than the shower head it replaced. Depending on how hard your water is, will be one of the factors that determine how often you will need to replace the filter along with the number of gallons of water that pass through the filter. On average the recommendation is about very 6 months. Replacing the filter is easy you just unscrew (turning counterclockwise) the shower head off of the handle, this will give you access to y the filter. Just pull the filter free from the shower head and place the new filter in, gasket first, and then screw it back onto the handle (turning clockwise). Run some water to check for leaks and remove any loose residue from filter. I really like the satin nickel finish. The build quality seems solid. The 6’ stainless steel hose is a good length. The bracket that holds the shower head in place for hands free use holds it securely. Then with little effort you can lift it out of the bracket and switch between handsfree and handheld, which is useful for rinsing down the shower especially with the 2 jet spray patterns out of the top of the shower head. Those jet spray patterns, and the inline water filter are the main things that make this product stand out compared to other brands. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a replacement handheld shower system.

I was looking for a dual head, shower assembly and came across this one on AquaCare. When it came, I was very impressed at how cool and beautiful it looked. Very well-made very classy. I didn't have any trouble attaching it in my shower and I want you to know that this is the best showerhead I've ever had in 58 years of living. I was audibly moaning in my shower and saying wow wow wow. The big stream of water that comes out is amazing. It's almost like you can feel each individual stream of water hitting your body. I haven't tried the sprayer yet, but I am sure it's just as good. I was worried that my shower flange would make it point down too much and not be adjustable, but it worked actually better than the ones I've seen in the pictures. I took out the water diverter because I wanted extra pressure and that was very easy to do. I love this thing and I wish I had more than 2 1/2 baths and I would order another one today. I'm going to tell my family about it as well!

I really like this shower head! I was surprised by its performance. I just wish it wasn't plastic. Install went easy. I did use a wrench to SLIGHTLY turn the connectors a bit further after hand tightening. The kit comes with everything you will need, including some thread tape to make waterproof connections. Make sure that you have the black washers at all connections! I had a leak at first, only to discover that I was missing a washer. I found it in the box. You can't create more water pressure than you have, but this surely does make the most of what you have. Some settings can actually sting you and you may need to reduce the water volume! I also like that you get a wand as well with a holder. The wand has settings too. There is a knob on side of holder that is used to direct water flow from head to wand, or both at same time. The wand also has settings on top of handle that you can set to clean the tub afterward. Not like a power washer, but good. I took off one star because when you set water to only flow out one shower head, water slightly trickles some out of the one that is shut off. in addition, since the connection is plastic to metal, it is easy to strip the threads if not careful. Overall, this is like a nice car wash for people! One tip: There is a regulator located inside sprayer. The instruction sheet shows you where it is. It is removable, if you'd like even better pressure, but make sure it is ok to do this in your state.

Wow light weight such great water pressure. Long cord that much appreciated. The magnet on sides is handy too for me just having surgery.

These shower heads produce a unique stream. More like a soft, dense spray than any shower I have experienced. It's very pleasant. I just ordered # 3, 4 and 5. I just replaced my existing hand-held shower with this unit. It took some adjusting, my existing shower plumbing is built in, without a pipe exiting the wall. I was able to attach the flexible hose to the fitting, but couldn't use the "new" holder, which is designed to attach to a rigid pipe coming out of the wall. Also, the handle was too large for my existing fixture. I solved this by not using the supplied handle, see the photo.

Short Description: I've had it installed for a couple (2) weeks now. It works as advertised. My skin and hair does feel softer . Furthermore, my hair no longer sticks together as if I came out of a swimming pool with tons of chlorine. Also a lot less hair loss!!! The only negative I have is the drip dry... takes between 3-10min for my shower head to drip dry - *drip drip drip drip* (could also be old plumbing but the old shower head didn't drip like this). Update Aug 2021: Wife complains the shower isn't "enough". I have interpreted to mean the water streams are not fat & thick and hence doesn't feel as - mmm like a massage I guess? I suppose there's something to a shower being able to massage as well as clean. For myself, it's pleasant, nice and calming. I will look into another shower head and perhaps move this one to the guest bathroom. Video1: drip drip drip!!! but it's okay - it's water afterall!!! and it does eventually end. Picture 1: close up of the drip? *lol* and the shower head from the side. Picture 2: picture of the shower head as you face it head on. You might see how it drips from the center to the side *giggle* drip drip drip! The long story: Background: Forty something male and losing my hair line and a small bald patch at the back - but minoxidil works! Anyways, I needed a new shower head and thought to improve the quality of my shower. My hair often stuck together as if I came out of a swimming pool with tons of chlorine. My skin was okay. Installation: Removing the fifty something year old shower head was actually a pain - lots of WD40 and waiting (I consider that part of installation *grin*). Before installing, I checked over the shower head to make sure all was tight and secure. A little teflon (plumber's tape) and snugging the head after screwing it on and it was golden. Experience: After showering and while my hair was still wet, my hair no longer feels clumpy (same shampoo - and I've tried a variety of them as well). After my hair was dry, my hair felt silky smooth and loose - no longer dry and rough (again as if my hair dried after coming out for a chlorinated swimming pool). My skin also feels softer and less rough although it didn't seem noticeably rough before replacing the shower head; but it just felt amazing after replacing the shower head. Overall, I didn't have a problem with the shower head itself as I saw some other reviews. Installation of the new shower head was pretty easy - just got to make sure you apply the teflon tape in the direction you are screwing the shower head on tight. The drippy thing wasn't there before, so I can only assume the new shower head accumulates a little water inside. It just takes a few minutes (from 3 to 10 minutes for me) to drip dry and then you can go to sleep peacefully (if your sensitive to the drippy noise). It could also be old plumbing *lol*
